How many are there and on what levels? Because I heard there is more than one. Also, how do you get them?

there are scarab guns for the levels metropolis, outskirts, and the great journey that i know of.

i think theres one every time the scarab has spawned for the first time on that level and shoots. but, it might just be everytime it shoots. did you know there is also a handheld phantom gun though? i found it when i was modding one day. also, on outskirts when you are going through hotel zanzibar and you see the plasma rifle shots at the end of the hallway, bungie just spawned a gun and had it shoot. i found that out when i gave myself super speed.

yeah if u go to high impact halo they experimented with that alot... there are definately two on metropolis and one on outskirts (i have seen them) im not really sure about any others but i dont think there are any. as for how to get them, im pretty sure that u probably know that for one of the ones in metropolis, u have to lure the banshee through the tunnel, and for the other one ur prolly gonna want to go to high impact halo for an explanation. lol and u can even dual weild on metropolis.....double the power.

Yeah, there's 3 (2 Metropolis, 1 Outskirts) scarab guns. Just look at HighImpactHalo.org for video tutorials on them all.

Great Journey scarab gun was a fake. The map doesn't even have a scarab_gun_handheld.weap!

Outskirts is 1

2 on Metro:
There's one where it shoots just as the pelican comes and you aren't near the water with the bridges yet. Get sputnik and blackeye, melee 2 marines untill they die, go to the middle of the intersection out of view of the waterfall place and in view of the little platform rising step things. When the scarab comes, throw a grenade at the ground and hit a rocket at your foot while jumping. Hold X.

The other one is on top of the giant 2 twin bridges... Lure a banshee through and break it's wings. Cross the loading zone while keeping "Hold X to board" able. At the loading zone, Board. If you board before it, the banshee explodes. If you board too late, it disappears.

In outskirts it's where the scarab shoots --> Above the giant hole with the exploded warthog. Sword lunge from the side seat of a warthog and have someone else drive you to the hill behind it. Get out and aim at the far part of the hole (you can see it). Once you get there, make sure you're early. Go about 20 feet towards the warthog (but still ontop of the tunnel) and wait for the scarab. Do what you did for the 1st metro one.

Ya you are right! I watched the Vid on that on High Impact Halo and foud it a little funny. Like the part were he Gets to the door and the vid (if slowed down) looks like it was cut and spliced together. I disovered that there wasn't a scarab_gun_handheld.weap in it when i first started modding and thought that someone sould make a vid dis proving it and send it to HIH. lol. I hate people who mod and then release stuff as glitches.

guys modz i did it to every campan map and found 3 like every body else 1 on outskirts 1 on metropolis and 1 more in motropolis

Yes, it's true. Just three. That second one on metro is pretty hard, I've never gotten it. I have gotten the outskirts one, It's almost as easy as the first metro one. TUT

EditZ: WTF mate, your first and second tutorials do not work. They are impossible without modding, and just so you know, it would be much easier to mod them as your starting weapon.

The second outskirts one, where the scarab shoots, the scarab and it's gun are triggered by walking through the building. Have one player do what you said. Now, have another player get a banshee. They fly over to the place you board and destroy the scarab. Music should start playing. Now, the second player goes through the building. At the top of the stairs, the first player throws a grenade. About 1/2 a second later, the second player is still running while player one jumps and fires a rocket. If your lucky, the scarab leg hits you and re-sets the fall timer.

On the outskirts one, the scarab gun is triggered when you enter that part of the tunnel. There is also a trigger zone in a circle all around that part of the tunnel. By using that method, the scarab gun will have un-spawned about 1 second after you get through the hole...and that's if you're fast.

4, 2 on Metro, 1 on Outskirts, 1 on Great journey when johnson takes the scarab, i saw a vid.............but you cant get it cause its INSIDE the scarab, and the scarab is blocked off..........
