HALO CE for XBOX TRICK - NEED TO KNOW!!! PLZ HELP!!!

My friend told that there is a trick he has seen done where you can shoot as many rockets/snipe bullets/needles/pistol bullets as there is in a random shotgun blast with the random shot count there is in a shotgun blast, which you can see when you shoot the shotgun agaisnt the wall.
I don't want to have to find this guy and bribe him a $100 bucks or more to find out. So please help me out here, I don't know where else to post something like this, so I hope I went and turned to the right place!!
