Easter Egg on "Keyes"

in my days of halo for xbox, ive found a pretty good number of little easter eggs, some of which i never even heard about until after i found them myself. but on the Keyes mission, you know where youre suppose to jump out of the ship into the coolant? if you just sit there and wait, Kortana says "threat level increasing" and after about 30 seconds, wave after wave of flood come spewing down the halls. and i dont think ive ever seen an end to them, or if there is an end to it, me and my friend never survived long enough to kill them all off. this whole time Kortana should be whining about stuff like "That jump into the coolant is looking better all the time, Chief!" just thought id share the secret of this little slaughter-fest with you guys. anyone else know of any easter eggs that involve hordes of monsters coming at you?

yes.

I thought everyone knew about this 'egg' though. I discoverd it first time around because I didn't want the jump into the coolant.

Its not even an egg. Its there to encourage you to jump into the coolant. If there werent waves of flood coming, what would make you jump? Anyway, its not an egg. Its not a glitch or a bug either. This is supposed to happen. But, u can get accross the gap in Keyes with the help of some grenade jumping. There are some Covenant and flood fighting and they wont see you or shoot you. If you kill the flood first, the elites will just stand there, and you can go and melee them. There are no actual walls, u can walk right through them. Although there is a barrier line farther out. You can go out really really far though. Once i found an infest flood sucking on a grunts dead body. That was really funny. Also, if you walk fast the large group of flood, u can walk kind of far down a long hallway. If you get against a wall and throw a grenade near u, it will push u into the wall. There is a dead elite next to a banshee, and when u get in u can fly through walls. You can even fly right to the shuttle bay at the end of the level, with all of the normal enemies there. Since this would be ur first time in the bay, the first wave of enemies would be there, not the ones there at the end of the level. But the game, seeing u have a banshee, will think u beat the level and play the cutscene. Then, at the beginning of The Maw, instead of Cortana saying 'we need to get to the bridge. From there, we can use the captain's neural implants to initiate a launch sequence...' she actually says 'It's done, I have the code. We should go', a transmission said by her in the preceding level, Keyes. Well, thats all for now. But, u can contact me at [email protected] if u want more expert tips on Halo CE. My most recent post is about Sniper Tower, Blood Gulch. I also posted a video on how to get up there. Check it out. Posted by RaVNzCRoFT. It should have a link to geocities. Thanks. Peace out.

Dude, stop bumping topic's about old easy tricks, it's really frickin' annoying, THEY'RE OLD!!! the authors probably don't even remember them and if so they don't need your "expert tips".

Well, if the author thinks that this endless flow of flood is an easter egg, then he apparently does not know much about the game. So, I was just suggesting some more advanced tips that I know of that he can try to pull off. What's wrong with some helpful criticism?[/b][/i]
