[model][skin] Sniper Rifle Doohicky
Here's my first model that I'll post on this website. In my opinion, its okay, but not really that good. Perhaps your opinions will differ, and thats what matters when I'm going to make mds, so I decided to post it anyway.
Ok, please try to keep your criticism constructive, nothing like "ew that sucks" or "you can't model at all" please.
Now, for a description of the model itself. It's basically a sniper with changed around dimesions and a new scope. The feet on the bottom are a bit different, the lower area is also different. The back of the sniper changed alot, unfortunately nobody gets to see that part. I had a bit of a problem with the scope on the left side. It's not too noticeable, simply because it is on the left side. The skin itself is pretty simple, it cleans up some of the graininess and colors the scope a less saturated blue.
Okay, enjoy if you can.

neat execution, but overused concept. Try to be a bit more creative.

I really like it. Could use some tweaking a bit and possibly a skin if anyone gets around to it, other than that, beautiful.

to be quite honest i don't like it much at all...
its missing the wow factor.
its an ok model but nothing that would get my download.
-I don't like how you have the bipod...the top part of it looks stretched and uggo.
-The round part above where the left hand is, doesn't look good that way.
-scope is fail
-you skin didn't help either.
but you are on your way...
keep practicing.

oh and one other thing about this dooku.
when posting a topic don't ever say that you don't think it looks good, cause if that is the case, then you shouldn't bother posting at all.
put pride into your work.
and if you said that to hide from criticism, don't waist your time on that either.
take the criticism for what it is, if it wasn't for the members the critiqued me as much as they did, i would never have learned what i know now.
this model isn't like allot of the other remodels i have seen from people, its actually...ehhh well it shows more time was put into, cause there isn't any serious stretching, or stray verts.

Edit:
By the way Dead Hamster, I didn't say they sucked, I just said that almost everyone used them and I was a bit sick of them.
Edit2:
New scope support.
