they all look the same because all sniper scopes are cylindrical.
nice sniper cobain. maybe lower the scope just a tiny bit and it'll be better for me. ill use this as my default sniper, cause its pretty nice.

i like this. its neat and fits the animations correctly.

there isnt too much that was edited though (that doesnt mean you didnt spend quality time on it). but what really bothers me is the realism on it; the scope seems to be attached to like a floating bar lol. until i see a sniper with a scope attachment like that, this model is a little too "off" for moi. also the bottom of the stock which connects the butt of the rifle is kinda wierd...

but those are all just imho, i havent seen a nice clean sniper remodel in a while =.=
I do remodels. I currently am trying to do custom remodels. Check out my models pack: http://bfeo.org/forum/index.php?topic=1160.0

I'm pretty sure that's the gun stock that bends around corners to kill hidden enemies. That's more of a camera display, rather than a scope.

No I think its a sniper rifle.

The article the picture was from said it was a sniper rifle custom made and used by an Iraqi to kill american troops.

a pointless double post at that?

never the less...your so called sniper cant compare, and is obsoleet to the types of other scopes....

and au5t3n5...you have some good points, i will take that into thought, making a more realistic sniper, but then again, strange is kinda what i go for, more of a cool look, rather than realistic...but i could still make amore realistic one, it would be a fun project =]

Generally, sniper scopes have the same idea goin' on. There aren't any vertical ones as far as i know.

Everyone seems to be missing the point. Look at a good handfull of sniper models, and you will see that in most of them, the sniper scope is around the same size and has a similar skin. Details may be different but datails are just that... details. My point is that though some decent modeling skills are being presented, the creativity as far as snipers go is overall bad.

And about my doublepost, I accidentally posted twice because when I hit submit, Internet Explorer froze up so I sorta pressed it a few times.

I edited it to say "Sorry Doublepost".

mrh still...
the reason why i make the scope like that, is cause i like how it looks...
an dim sure the probably the reasoning for other people...its simply looks neat to them....
i like it cause it no longer looks like it belongs to halo, but rather some other series....and that is the point after all...to make it what it wasn't or couldn't be before.
