HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

I've been determined to make a good mod for at least a year. This took about a month to make, and it was worth it! I made Halo RUBY after failing WAR, AFOSR, and losing all my data from EVOLUTION. This is THE mod. we've all been waiting for.

There is more than one mod like Ruby. That's right! I've made a copy of all new red stuff in Halo RUBY and made it blue. Halo SAPHIRE. SAHPIRE is for those who prefer blue over red. Like little kids and the NFL Pro bowl. (Sad humor... )

To use: Extract the files in either mod to - C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo. Select yes to all when it asks to overwrite.

BTW, get someone with a good graphics card to take pics(not me )

I can tell you spent a wile doing this(unlike I would do). I think if you had a better video card there could be better pictures and the textures would look better. I am not holding that against you. I like some of the textures, but others, even with a good card would need some help. In the 1st pic the rock texture is not seamless. The placement of skins is kind of odd. But its diffenently one of a kind. Nice idea.

Blarg...What i would suggest is you start off with smaller mods.

I think the textures on Deathisland should be re-done. I can't really give a rating until I see any other pictures with a better graphics card though.

I told you not to release it yet. You should have told me before you released it. The textures look horrible in my opinion.

I want you to redo the textures. I promise I will take pictures for you next time.

Good job on the Mod though

bigshot007 is going to perfect the textures. This mod still has a chance of being good.

can someone please take pics of this on a good card that way when i do write my honest opinion on what i have seen so far i cant be held liable by rating it on bad gfx cause from what im seeing here so far.. expect a novel of negativity.

i will since ive got nothing better to do. im running dual 8800GT graphics cards

nice mod, but I don't think this was taken TOO seriously.

I give it a 5/10. Some of the texures are okay. If you're going for a snowy look then you need to change the bitmaps for the trees in Timberland. You really should re-do most of the textures in the mod. The grass looks like you changed it's brightness in Photoshop.
