this took me about 2 hours...

this is probably my first real remodel, ive done minor things, just messing with milkshape...you gotta play around with it before you actually do something right? just a remodeled sniper i designed by myself, not really supposed to look like any other gun in particular...just a sniper =)

needs a skin tho...

made for trial, so presumably works for fv?

note: there is a stray vert that doesnt go away, i could get rid of it, but id have to scale the whole section down which means the whole top half+barrel of the gun goes bibi....which would make it pretty much useless lol, its not noticeable in game though, so, w.e

note^2: the slide that is on the side that you usually cock back when reloading, i positioned parallel to the top of the but of the gun and it pulls out when he reloads and goes back in when hes done, like one of those old school snipers =) you can see it in the 3p pics, its not in your view in the fp version, but when you are done reloading it you get a glimpse of it sliding back in

this looks very very super close to a model done by _FC_Homies ive used before. Can't wait for a download to compare them

Who's skin is that on there? Even if you dont put it up for download you should still say whos it is.

I think its a custom pistol skin with a shader swap onto the sniper rifle

I like it. It looks like you did a good job on it.

oh haha, i totally forgot about it, the skin was the one from an m4+skin i found on this site, i forgot who, and i was making this mod earlier with the m4 and stuff and i had given up on it lol so i just used the map to inject models cause i didnt want to hht another map, so its my sniper with that m4 skin on it...which is why its gray...

at anyrate...im going to try to upload my model, i tried like 3 times yesterday but it didnt upload when i posted...ill try again =/

edit:nvm i got it i tried to upload the .obj before lol i guess i have to .rar it in a file to upload it, cause this site doesnt let me upload the .obj directly...

mmmm i think they are the same idea, but after all, arent most snipers like this? long body, round scope? at anyrate, my scope is a tad bit diff and my barrel has a silencer on it as well as the cocking mechanism thing i totally changed, so at least thats original

i would not call it awesome i would say it is decent, but you know we can only have the same amount of verts as the original model so...I would say that it is a good job, but could do with some improvement.

Incredible model. 9.5/10. The skin could be better. It reminds me a lot of the Scout in CS:S

yeah, actually thats supposed to be an m4 skin lol, im thinking im going to have BFEO Flame skin it for me later, once hes done setting up his site etc

and now that you mention it, it does remind me of the scout mmm

ow im quite impressed....a better skin and this could almost be top notch...very nice job.

10/10 on the model no rating for that skin. but if u skinned it urself then 0/10 on the skin
