This is a warthog skin ive been working, all of the patterns were drawn in ps by me. I havent made a skin in ages so im out of practice and this porbably looks disgusting... But i thought id post it to see what you guys think.
IT is in ppf format, to install it just path it to bitmaps.map
pics
Edit: just added a file with the bitmaps to stop that injecting error, the ppf is still there if people realy need it.

It's a great start, but you need to make a multipurpose skin for it.
Just a heads up.
7/10

Very nice, but maybe a little detail on the turret, too. 8/10

this is why nothing dealing with bitmaps i do will ever be in .ppf format. im sure he didnt mean for it to look like this and seems like a common injecting error but ppf-o-matic did this to your skin dude. i suggest making a folder and placing the bitmaps needed for this skin in it and editing your first post with thoes raw bitmaps themselves. most of us are smart enough to know where they go.
as for the skin i have to agree it does need a multi to compliment it. i noticed the lack of tree bases (inside joke) so thats good as well.
make a multi
skin the turrent
give me cookies and i will rate this then.
if you have skinned before like you said then im seeing this as a WIP and not a finished product. keep at it thoe.. i like where your going with it.

thanks, it has a multipurpose though... pepsi showed me how to get rid of the metal detail, that would make the paterns show up alot more... heres a screenshot with it.
Better Or Worse?

that looks very clean but the only thing im not digging is the black is.. well.. its just black. dont get me wrong the color do compliment each other very nice but maybe add a carbon fiber look or something where the black is perhaps?
EDIT->
i downloaded the bitmaps themselves and took a pic of it in game. i was intrested in seeing what it looked like on the mod im doing and you can see what i mean by the black being plain. i also went and did a quick 30 second job on the multi to add a little extra to it as well.
as i said.. the black is just to plain for me on this.
btw, did tazz see what i did?

im sure he knows already thoe..

pepsi, you are a GOD at UI and now a MASTER at multipurpose. i would have never though of a reflective glow... but as for the original, i like it. oh and prefix is 24 hours or deletion by a mod.

Whenever I inject any type of multipurpose (edited or none edited) my graphics get screwed up and i have to re-install halo. any one else ever have that problem?

When i uploaded my raw warthog skins for my neon post the moderators deleted my attachment and said that bitmaps weren't allowed.

Needs the contours of the vehicles, black and red just don't look very real.
Neat though...

ive said it before to people on xfire, a mulitpurpose can make or break a skin. in a way.. there more important then the actual skin itself if you think about it
