[MOD]CHAOS MOD(INCOMPLETE

well this is my first mod for halo trial before i completed it i wanted advice so it wouldn't suck. so please comment on my skins projectiles anything ext please thank you
Umm to install this merely replace the map in your halo trial directory with this one but back it up by saving it somewere else before you do =D

sure...you can either upload them here by posting and adding file attachments...or you can go to image shack or photobucket and upload them there...then post the tag here.

ye i did duplicate the rifles. but i still think the skins could be better, can somone let me know how to make GOOD skins im really new to skinning
ive had a bit of mod practice but no skinining experiance

you're better than I am at skinning, I can do the odd tweak and change in a few bitmaps...but nothing major. Anyways, cool mod, I like the duplicated sniper rifles too
8/10 -2 because of the skins

thanks i am currently reskinning everything i know it look so crappy also working on new flag for CTF games look for my new post soon and thanks for your comments i have now got a good idea on skins

My suggestion would be to use the Master Chief armour emblems for the CTF flags, similar to the Halo 2 and 3.

am i missing something here or am I looking at the wrong pictures. I personally see nothing great about the first two pictures. the first one i personally don't like all the white on it, and the second i don't like the repeating texture of the tank. the hog with flames looks good though. that is just my 2 cents worth.

Fine watch this, this is gonna be close to flame. Just average out the scores and you'll get the final.
The first sniper texture looks horrible, the scorpian is one of the worst skins ever, meaning it sucks. Wtf are wit the warthogs, they really suck. Last sniper looks you you barfed on it. Mod sucks. 4/10. Lol.
Average, somewhere like 6.5?

thanks for ocmment guys i apreciate them even the harsh ones it has showed me wats stupid and wats no stupid thanks also i think yes im done with this mod u might still think it sucks but ok i will get better its my firt complete mod check it out CHAOS MOD X

and about this mod, if you type like that^ and make these mediocre skins, how are you duplicating the sniper rifles? That's a difficult task for a newbie.
If you really did duplicate them, tell me how then. I know how, i've past that stage of modding, I just want to know how to see if you really did that.

Wait...isn't this trial?
If you managed to duplicate them on Trial (without replacing another Weapon tag), I'd like to know too.
Unless I'm mistaken this could work(For Trial):
Code: Select all
Save a weapon meta, and an ITMC tag
Edit the names in the XML so that they refrence each other
Inject them over another weapon and it's ITMC tag.
convert the ITMC tag to a scenery, place the ITMC tag in the map using sparkedit.
But if you figured that out I'd be very surprised. No Offense
