Hey

From the responses of my "Beaten, Dented, Burnt Banshee" skin, I have been encouraged to make a pack of all of the vehicles like the banshee skin. What I mean by a "Beaten, Dented, Burnt, Scratched" vehicle, is that what a vehicle would look like if it had been through hell and back. These vehicles show a perfect example of it. Some of the vehicles have either partially melted hulls from the cause of plasma fire, warn away paint, loss of colour, burn stains, huge scratches (some look like an elite keyed your ride), and big, big dents through the whole thing.

Details of the included files:

Warthog:

Now that you've gotten a good idea of what this skinpack includes, you can now check out some screenshots i've taken. Courtesy of Xfire.

Note** you need to look at them yourselves in-game to really see the detail. No one can depend on screenshots. Mods are always different when you actually play them.

Now that you have gotten a decent look of the new skins, you should read an agreement i've included in the Readme file in this download:
Readme wrote:Please give "UntalkativeBunny" credit if you are planning on and or going to use these skins in a mod.

P.S. Don't think you can get away with editing them and slapping your name on the ass end of it, it's still mine even after it's been edited. Please give me credit.
Now that you have read and agreed to it, you can now download the skinpack.

as minimario said, it looks like all you did was use the sharpen tool.
put some effort into it.

I didn't use the sharpen tool....at all. Would you like me to do an overview of what i did?

Ok, skins = bad

The warthog doesn't look beaten, it looks shinier. As for the Tank, it looks like its got moss on the tread covers. The Ghost looks like it had a visit with a lawnmower (as in, looks like it has grass particles all over it). The Banshee looks neat, but not beaten. And it looks like you may have ran it to high on contrast.

as for your gigantic screenshots that are vertically distorted, get smaller ones.

I don't think its worth downloading. Try something else next time, because you can make the skins, I know that.

Well...I guess i could have done better. Thanks for actually explaining what's wrong and right....and I do thank you for saying i can make skins.

P.S. what's wrong the screenshots? other than the size.

When you post pictures, put them in BBCode.

Code: Select all

Im not wasting my time clicking on each link, put them on the page.

But the thing is that i want everyone to view it, including 56k'ers because of the image size and resolution.

Resize the images to be smaller. That way they won't take long to load, those large images off-site take just as long to load as they would on this page, they still take forever to see them. I remember having dial-up. It sucked. lol.

..Alright.

I'll update them later and give them the img code.

Im not saying you have to do it for this one, or even do it all. all I was saying is that most people prefer to have the images on the page so they don't have to go through the links. Do what you want, they're your files.

The only thing that looks changed to me is the banshee, and barely.
