The following are skins that I have made for Halo Trial. I would appreciate feedback on my skins, constructive critism is welcome!!!

Weapons Sniper, Assault Rifle, and Pistol

The Camo Assault Rifle (noticed the compass display is changed from arrows to N, NW, NE, W, E, S, SW, and SE)


The pistol, which is skinned to be darker and greenish, and a third-person side view of the skinned Assault Rifle

Remember, these are skins for an upcoming mod I am making! (credit will be given to the models in which I am using!!) PLEASE COMMENT ON MY SKINS!!! CONTRUCTIVE CRITISM IS WELCOME!

These skins look excellent but you need a download or it's gonna get deleted.

I aggree withe Caboose. The skins are great but unless you have a download link in 24 hours this topic will be deleted. This topic is supposed to go in Modding Discussion (I spelt Discussion wrong didn't i?).

but.. i think theres too much red in the hud for the AR for my taste.

i would rate but there is no download..

I like them, a LOT, but like pepsi said, AR is too red in the display.

Make it a black, with either red or white numbers that have that clock look, like this:



It's more realistic, and It would look cool.

i have 3 things to ask since the download is here...

1. did you feel it was necessary to upload your entire bitmaps.map file for the download of this?

2. this AR skins in the upload are corrupted also. not some, but all the AR skins are. why?

3. i noticed this when i first seen the pics and now i will ask this also.. is that a watermark on the texture for the camo on the rifle?

1) Sorry, I was tired and didn't feel like downloading everything necessary to make a PPF

3) Yes, those are watermarks, and I'm desperatly trying to find another camo look-alike that has the same basic texture

was i the first one who came up with the compass letters?

Make it yourself. I didn't even notice the watermark, but now that it is I really have nothing to grade on. 10/10 for being able to download, convert and inject a texture.

For the overall appearance of the rifles I give it a 9/10, It would've been better if it was your work.

Ah, lettered compass, I'm going to have one of those in my soon to come skin pack. Nice, I like'em 7/10 It has been done before but yours are beter than what I've seen.

looks nice...similar to my kinda stuff i like the ideas

on the sniper...try not to skin the barrel...its hard to find on the bitmap i cant remember where it is its been a while since ive skinned

Uuuh, the bitmaps.map file showed everything as black.
