i think this turned out well. i released it a week ago on fpsb, and i have no idea why i didnt here.

File - Open - (your Halo folder) - Maps -BloodGulch - Bitmap-vechicles\scorpion\bitmaps\scorpion_body

IMPORTANT!!!
click "Save Texture" to save a backup of the original texture, scorpion_body.dds

Now select "Inject Texture" and find the TIGER_scorpion_body1.dds file and hit open.
The new skin will now be seen.
If you ever want to get rid of this, that is what the back up is for.
