Get used it. This actually seems to be Caboose's nicer side. Unfortunately though, I have to give you a 3/10. Too much detail taken away. And the tires looks messed. I might change my rating though depending on what program you used to skin.[/b]

Pheonix, just because its your first something-or-another doesn't mean that people are always going to be nice. It is much better to be truthful.
As in, I really do not like this model because there are tons of splotches where you missed and the normal green hog'ness shines through. The tires are very ew, mainly because you also missed most of them as well. But, in the second picture, I think it looks kind of nice. I suggest you kind of re-do this so that you don't have like every single part of the warthog in a shade of blue. The sides of the warthog do look pretty nice to me, and if you simply re-do what you did onto the sides and specific spots, it will look a LOT better. This skin overdoes it a bit.
Specifically:
Leave the tires mostly normal, or change them if you want, but please do not camo them unless you are doing the hubcap only.
The seats. Don't camofy the seats, doesn't look right. At all.
Turret-looks funny because you missed a bunch. Try to mainly put camo on the GREEN parts of the warthog, and I think that will look a LOT better. I can imagine a combo of the blue on the side of the hog, sort of like a blue camo, and a dark-gray interior. That would be pretty cool.

You should've only skin over the green parts of the warthog, the tires and the underside of the hog being skinned killed it.

dude ... what do you except with default editor and DXTbmp?

Well, then get something other than a "default" editor.
Paint.net and Gimp are two great, free programs for skinning. P.net even has a dds plugin like Photoshop.
We're not trying to discourage you, but... come on.

4/10, it looks kinda cool on the body and the turret, but its just ugly on the tires and everything else.

I'm sorry but that is disgusting.
It would have been better if the design wasn't
everywhere on the hog.

Dude you should invert that to make a lava hog. That would be cool and then post that one as well.

Are you trying to sound tough or something?^^ Thought I'd remind you that you were NOT very well liked by a lot of people when you joined this forum. I'm surprised you're still here, but please, if you need to boost your self esteem don't use new members to do it.

better pics of this..

the .dds files included..

1/10. sorry, but it looks like a 3 minute job being labeled as a first. there are alot of spots missing camo and not even close to being thought out.
did you know if you camo the taillights the camo will also be on your rockethog tail lights as well?
maybe next time you should spend a little more time on working the details and not just rushing to do a skin. in the end it will save you alot of heartache of reading replys like caboose jr's. but caboose is correct in what he said, even if it is brash.
and before you go off saying something retarded like .. "you cant judge my skin, you havent done any warthog skins, there hard.. blah, blah, blah" .. i have. see the link below..
