I made this a while back and was never really planing on releasing this.

This is a partially complete project that I worked on during my spare time. I was trying to keep the original Halo "essence" yet make game play more tactical. Its rather unpolished but I still think it's fun.

Some changes include:

- Slightly wider fov.
- All weapons, AI and vehicles have been tweaked.
- Damage is scaled by where it hits (ie. pistol is no longer a hs gun, but shooting the head does cause much more damage than shooting the legs), although this mostly applies for higher levels of difficulty and against hunters).
- All projectiles "ping" (shakes your screen).
- Hand held weapons now have recoil (the recoil may seem insignificant, but keep in mind I designed this for myself and I usually play with lowest possible sensitivity at 400dpi).
- Weapons now have a smaller target tracking cone, making aiming more crucial.
- No weapon is perfectly accurate (besides sniper).
- AR is more accurate, and killing from a distance using controlled bursts is possible.
- Pistol is semi-auto and can now shoot as fast as you can pull the trigger and control the recoil. Pistol bullets are also slower than before, so target leading is required for enemies at a distance.
- Plasma rifle has been basically remade, ROF is now, more or less, dependent on heat level.
- Needler melee damage higher than other weapons.
- Needles are faster and do damage on contact.
- Rockets now go FAST but start to arc as they get further down range.
- Shotgun is now semi-auto and pellet spread is now mostly within the reticle.
- Banshee is now faster. Banshee gun shoots FAST but can now overheat so burst placement and moderation is important.
- Ghost is less "floaty". Ghost gun can now overheat.
- Warthog physics more realistic (no hairpins at top speed). Warthog chaingun ROF up, damage down.
- AI now fire from a distance
- AI ROF is no longer controlled by difficulty level.
- Marines are actually useful (somewhat)
- Elites shields will leak very minor damage if shot in the head (I just found it weird that if you got hit in the face with something going over 800 mph even with something stopping it before it hits you, you would get away with out so much as even a little whiplash)
- Almost all variations of elites will throw grenades (lower the rank, the less often and from shorter ranges.
- Grunts will now use overcharge (again, lower the rank, the less often)
- Stealth Elites with swords are now Ultra Elites.
- Hunters are now MUCH more generous with their fuel rod cannon

There may be more changes, but I have forgotten if there are.

NOTE: all maps have been rebuilt with content converted from CE. There is a weird problem that arose after compiling that makes it impossible to edit a single projectile on every map.

EDIT: Since more pictures wont really let you grasp the differences from the regular campaign (since not many visuals were changed) I added more details on changes

More pics wont really let you grasp its feel, since visuals have not changed much. Ill try to get a shot of a long range battle between marines and covies.
