[MOD] Covenant Gulch

Time put in to this map: around 7 or 8 hours. (two days to fully complete this mod)
Credits: My friend for helping me get all the bugs out.

known issues: beam rifle has no 3rd person animation when you melee. you might get hurt
standing next to someone and not notice them meleeing you :P.

Description: BloodGulch updated with new bitmaps and more scenery. I made this mod to be a
covenant gulch with all covenant weapons and scenery. over all i think i did pretty good
with the weapons. i added a halo 2 weapon too. There is not one human weapon or vehicle on
this map.

Weapons:
plasma pistol
plasma rifle
plasma cannon
needler
beam rifle

scenery:
crashed dropship
c storages
c uplinks
c field genorators (covenant shields)
timberland trees
fire emitters
dead elites

vehicles:
6 ghosts per team (12 in all)
2 banshees per team (4 in all [2 are not near base])
1 wraith per team (2 in all [once destroyed wraith is never driveable again])

other updates:
Play as an elite
ground bitmaps
beam rifle bitmaps (not the best skin)

OH SH** DUDE, i just did something similar with sidewinder! well bases and a forest and all that, but also you play as a marine. at least theres some major differences, and i like yours its pretty cool.

dude , i did that w/ gephy but yours is hella better. nice job, you accomplished what you were trying to do perfectly. i like how it's strictly alien scenery.

nope...actually it was pmied in from the c10 map and if you open sparkedit...youll see tons of squares...thats where the fire is on the tree. gotta love fire :)

hey does anyone like the beam rifle?

he pmied the flame emitter which can be found in a10, d40, c10, a50 and a few more maps.
good job on getting some of the old school basics done.

yeah i know...i didnt have a skin for a beam rifle...but besides the skin the characteristics of the beam rifle is almost 100% just like halo 2. i couldnt get the contrail to stay instead of drifting off, but it works off of heat. sorry about the hud...with the bullets and the heat bar.

sorry for the bump (and double post) but alot of people are downloading this...and im just wondering if i should make another mod somwhat like this or fix this up a bit (bitmap wise) if you guys want to help me with the beam rifle that would be greatly appreciated.

Pretty cool, a lot could be added to make it even better though. I like the ground skin a lot too. Nice job.

like what??? and how does this map run with your computers...should i make a slow computer version which doesnt have much trees and takes out the fire on the tree...because that fire slowed me down sometimes. just whatever you think i could improve on tell me...and im currently looking into making a V2 of covy gulch

Those bitmaps for the cliff and ground are exactly the same as mine? Did yo u use the ones from my valhalla mod? If you did you have to give credit.
