HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

So, I made a MIG 42 model and injected it into halo instead of the banshee. Second, I changed the Plasma Bolts to AR bullets and increased the ROF dramaticly. Third, I changed from the fuel rods to tank rounds which I decreased the speed of and added homing so it is almost exactly like a homing missile! And fourth, The jet goes twice as fast as the normal Banshee. The only glitches are how MC fits into the jet, (you'll see what I mean in the pics) and the skin, becuase it is not fit for the model:

Only thing is needs a skin and its off center. besides that 9/10.

i love you ..................i meen like ....oh never mind what i ment is i love migs....to me they were the perfect jets for there time maby you could make the model bigger so the chief fits but thats no big deal 10/10

oh i am currently working on a mod project called the allstar mod where i take what i think are the best models there will be a video and if you let me include this you will get all the credit pm or just respond with yes for go ahead or no for dont includ this in the allstar mod..

looks more like a Sukhoi...good job though, even if technically there is no such thing as a MiG 42..

EDIT: forgot about the MiG-21..

I think so too....MIG 21 fishbed....

I also always liked the A-10 Warthog "Tank Buster". I would love the chance to fly one someday. They have always been one of my favorites.

*Remembers getting shot down until finding out I could destroy the runway before the MIG's took off*

*Remembers the MIGs trying to take off on exploded runway and flipping over and exploding*

I am also making a mod like that, but I really wasn't planning on releasing it, and it was going to be for single player. Actually I am going to put in your GoW shotgun in it.


I'm probably not going to release it because it would be a pain to get permission from everyone who made the models, and because I wouldn't be able to upload it at my house (DIAL UP INTERNET SUCKS)

ok, its a good model, but POST THIS IN THE MACINTOSH SECTION

the model isn't a remodel, and the PC Halo modders can only inject remodels(yes I AM excluding Custom Edition)

so seriously next time post it 2 sections down

Anyway, it's a pretty cool model, it could just use a decent texture so that it doesn't look wonga. Also, you mean a MiG-21, like has been stated. ;P
Oh, and you need a prefix within 24 hours or deletion.

ive been playing this mod for a while, and i must say, there is little to criticize

i like the model, wish it was a closed cockpit and no landing gear, better skin, and a warning beep when u get a homing missile lock (which by the way, are totally devastatingly awesome!) and thats about it, controls are nice, weapons are nice. 9.95 outa 10!
