i also can make this into a .ppf of course but i want people to learn how to mod instead of just using .ppfs constantly so they get some knowledge from things instead of just clicking "apply" all the time. but i guess ill make a ppf anyways so it can stay in the download section and the quick modder has something as well

so what is it pepsi? well i took my skull from oddball and turned it into the monitor from 343 guilty spark! yeah.. i love it! its so cool and funny also.
so how did i do it? it was very simple imo.
first i opened the c10 (guilty spark) map in hmt
scroll down to the "[mod2] tags"
then find "characters\monitor\monitor"
click it
then to the right on "sub-objects" click the first one
click "extract model"
we will call this now the "monitor model" we just extracted.
now go to the "[bitm]" tag in a10
search for
"characters\monitor\bitmaps\monitor_base"
and
"characters\monitor\bitmaps\monitor_multipurpose"
save both textures.
now open your map of choice up in hmt. i choose BG of course
find the "[mod2] tag"
find "weapons\bal\fp\fp"
click the only sub-object to the right
now import the "monitor model" over that sub object
the monitor is now your skull for 1st person view
now go to the [bitm] tag
your going to replace a few textures
"characters\monitor\bitmaps\monitor_base"
replaces
"weapons\ball\bitmaps\gameball_100"
"characters\monitor\bitmaps\monitor_multipurpose"
replaces
"weapons\ball\bitmaps\gameball_100 multipurpose"
now close hmt and open hht. we have to make it so we see the monitor in 3rd person.
open the map you chose in hht. for me BG again.
go down to the "[weap]" tag and click
now click on "weapons\ball\ball'
on the right a dependency list opens
click the top one "mod2 weapons\ball\ball"
now on the drop down menu at the bottom choose
"mod2\weapons\ball\fp\fp"
then hit swap
close hht
your done. go play halo.
save your "original ball model/ball skins" if your not happy with the effects.
