ok before you people start flaming remember this- look at the pics carefully and know that this is a beta. im not all the way finished with it

anyways, i have been working on this project for a week and i have completed this so far:

I think i know how to make it work.
Have it shoot an invisible projectile that hardly has any range so that you have to be right up to someone to hit them. Then just use HHT to swap all that projectiles impact effects to suit the chainsaw.

an invisible projectile like...an energy sword.. that has low range and null it out eh?.. also i have this program called Switch which can convert audio files to ACDMP format, but hmt wont accept it. either type, (IPM(i think)ACDMP and Microsoft ACDMP)- any help would be great!

Here we go-replaced the shotgun with the flamethrower on C20 and am attempting to create some good chainsaw effects

STILL WORKING ON THIS!

yes thats a good idea-flood+chainsaw=CARNAGE!....but im sticking to blood gulch as a test map, then im going to mod wizard..i think mb..ya

Just use the warthog engine sound. All you really need is a basic motor sound. And for this short, invisible pojectile make uber blood for the human/covie impact effect.

k i swaped the meta offsets in hmt and im testing right now
EDIT: i did two test runs and they both were great.however, in the second test run , i swapped some other effects and they would start up before you touch them. i mean like if youre far away, youll hear them...but the bloodsplat effect works great. too much damage tho. i still need help wiht effects.
so sounds are done, if you pull out the chainsaw, it does the warthog engine startup sound. and it idles with the hog max speed engine sound...

i feel ..not encouraged now..jk! i have been improving on it for a while. i am probably gonna release the full, "Welcome to Hell (wizard Chainsaw Mod)" soon, like January 15. well, i guess i should finish with the effects.. c ya..
BTW: everybody, from tomarrow to Sunday, i will be at my dad's, that means "no Halo!!!". so, yeah, and thx guys for the help... i think.. yeah...

That'd be cool... It would require the use of HEK and CE-PC tag conversions and custom animations... But would kick all unholy ass.

change the jet pilot or whatever to flame thrower overheat to make an awesome smokeing chainsaw

ya i did, but i need it to be where sparks fly when you get impact on metal. if it hits on MC, it should shoot blood n' stuff. i already have it to where the screen shakes when fired for more than 1 sec.

lol i like that phrase. anyways to add a very bloody effect(i made the AR shoot out blood) usee hht to edit the muzzle flash and switch the shooting animation to a melle anim.
