I'm releasing a lot of my mods that I've been hoarding for the last 2 and a half years... so there'll be quite a few. If this could be stickied because of that, that'd be great

First and most recent. Meh, it's still got some bugs, but I can't get my hex editor working right to fix the string typos (find function is stuffed, and nobody in their right minds wants to find 2 words in a few thousand lines of code), so I may as well release what I've got so far. It says "inset" instead of insert and I left a space out somewhere, nothing major I guess.

Think this is the most recent version...

Features:

- Recoil
- Amped-up screen flashes (looks like a redout, lasts longer)
- Flashbang blinding effects on nearby explosions (working on full shellshock effects)
- Flinching when you take damage
- More realistic weapons and damage. Anything that logically would kill on a headshot, does.
- Magazines waste when reloaded (if you reload when the mag is half full, you lose the remaining rounds)
- Changed some effects, including shield shaders
- Permanent decals (some will eventually vanish, but it looks cool)
- Warthog chaingun is a beast... but overheats to prevent whoreage
- Changed text strings
- Bullet drop (only really noticeable when you fire the Hog gun into the air or blast a rocket at something)
- Full dynamic lighting
- Crash damage
- With every shot of the noob rod, aim jolts up a LOT and screen gets brighter until either it overheats or you can't see. Best anti-whore mechanism without getting rid of it altogether or making it explode on firing.
- Other stuff I can't remember.

Gameplay is pretty hectic and the recoil takes some getting used to, but I like it.

Pics. Mainly showing off the awesome purplified shields and crash damage... oh, and the flares, and on a few you can see a slight paling of the screen from grenade flashes. These things will blind you completely when they go off nearby, so watch out!

EDIT: Do I see my shader pack in that video? I noticed that distinctive little blotch of brightness on the left side of the AR stock.

I filmed it too, I'll edit and upload ASAP. Also re-releasing a H2 Banshee skin I made ages ago by compiling my own skin with a few others (I believe I mixed mine with Halo 2 Rules's fakebumped Banshee skin, mad props to him).





Gonna work on that video then decide what to release next. Keep in mind 90% of this stuff is VERY much unfinished, I'm just releasing so you guys can finally see what I was working on over the last 36 months.

Also I'd like to know who voted fail, why, and see them do better

Thanks. A lot of work went into all of my mods, unlike some I've seen, but I'd never got round to actually finishing any. So I've decided to just polish them a little and release anyway, for everyone to finally enjoy.

While you wait: Black AR skin with deeper blue LCD screen. Also has a serial number on the left top of the receiver, and shiny Halo 3 AR-style pins and screws. Best when used with Explosive American's shader pack.
