(skins) The weird effect

Ok. So you have seen the insane effect. But now, you are going to see the weird effect. Note: ignore the mod used in the pic of the shield depltion. Plus they are two effects not shown. When you fire a charged plasma pistol bolt or plasma rifle bolt, you see a NEW contrail. Here are pics. ENJOY!

Thanks insanedrive. I like those two as well. The shield deplition one, well, average. The needle effect was by accident, i didn't do it, the game did. Thanks for the positive reply plus i liked yours too insanedrive.

i take back what i said your not rubbish

and err amazingly i don't skin but what i do is i remix and edit the sounds.map rather than the bitmaps.map
I've posted a few mods over on the internet.
one fortunately enough on halomods.com

ehh it always happens you just have to reinstall the game and re apply skins.....be sure u dont switch any metas that dont fall under the same category or that will happen...... i call it the filmstrip and net slayer youre an idiotic retard, ive been skinning for years and this always happens its not his fault its halo's.

plasma effect: i dunno, not really liking it, looks like a clown wig, tbh
flames: too low quality, remind me of the original doom

They do look a bit weird, and if you didn't mean for the needle effect to happen it means you injected a bitmap that is too big for the original and made a corrupted bitmap.

I agree with Infantry001's point. Keep trying, and we already have InsaneDrive's Effect pack.

however there are many tuts around that might help you

(generally i'm not the most friendly or caring)

ya you could have put it alot nicer than that. he's new here and this beats some of the BS projectile swaps that people used to (and still) post. my first mod that i released to everyone was just a flying hog for bloodgulch, and everyone thought it was cool. i appreciated that, so show this guy some respect for trying
