8.5/10

It looks vast amounts better than the original. Being able to actually see the gun makes it just that much better. It is simple, but much better.

you know.. i got a idea..

how about making something unique instead of trying to mimic halo2 or halo3. how about something original?

is it like no one can be creative anymore? ive said it before and ill say it again.. halo2/3 does not belong in halo1. it just seems nub. sure there fun to do but trying to turn halo1 into a different halo series isnt the same by far as actually owning the true halo2/3 game.

its like saying.. "hey, i put halo2 stuff on halo1 cause im too broke to buy the real game".

people need to be more creative and think outside the box these days. alot of this stuff being posted these days are the same ideas as before and just redone over with a new cliche.

i havent modeled so i cant rate this. all i can say is in game it looks fine to me. i dont know the technical end of it thoe. <- no experience.

point blank.. stop fighting. stop arguing. all it does is make me check this thread to see if theres a update and the only update is more bickering over a idea that old to begin with. use this aggression to actually do something creative. flood this section with new ideas or join our nightly mod group on xfire and become part of our "think tank".

till then you all look like noobs arguing over a rebuild model that im told by a expert modeler could be done in 2 mins.

//rant

p.s. yes, this post is directed to you also in this thread i call friends. thats what true friends do. they look out for each other. so im doing that now.. you look like nubs bickering here.. >_>

This isn't even meant to look like any other model. This was made so the old model could be replaced with one that I thought looked good. I don't care about what anyone thinks about it. (though posting comments about how it is good or how it can be improved is always welcome...) It is just here for those that do like it and want it.

And remember, what each person says is their opinion. Not fact.

Just a side note: By the end of most of my posts I can't remember what I am talking about. Image

It looks kind of... fat? :|
I'm not really a big fan of plasma rifle models, and this one doesn't impress me much, but you do get marks for originality. :P

yeah, but i sort of like the half enclosing bits of the rifle, I think it makes it look a bit better more realistic in the sense that you would not have them sticking out like that, if would be a bit shielded.
