Huh?

You just change one of its tags to scen in HHT, then import it into sparkedit and place it where you want. It still functions fine, just doesn't respawn.

omg no1 lissens to me, i got the weird effects of the invisible spawning turrets from changing the rocket launchers value with the turrets value...going by that experience, something else crazy might happen with it

You changed the rocket launchers meta into the turrets?

Yes, you can do a lot like that, although it's hard to reverse unless you save the old meta on a text file or something.

u have no idea what im talking about...do you know what hex editing is?...
the rocket launchers offset is 007B0CA8 in beavercreek and its value is 00995C40, the gun turrets value is 44858A40, i switched 00995C40 with 44858A40, thus turning the rocket launcher into the messed up turret u see before you, and besides, if i wana reverse it, i just get the map back off the cd or switch 44858A40 back to 00995C40

im still wondering why you would release this if you knew it would cause exceptions? :roll:

i mean not to flame seriously but why release a mod when you know it doesnt work? wouldnt it been more wise to have someone fix the maps exceptions first and advoid 2 pages of all this before you? its like getting a car with a bad alternator or something. sure it will run for a bit then it dies on you.

i mean seriously...

well im sorry to say but this gets a 2/10 from me for the fact it doesnt work. sure things are modded and such but bottom line is it doesnt work. my only advice would be to get this working correctly without exceptions then make a repost. other then that i dont see the point of playing a mod that going to give me a exception and kick me from the game.

Yes, I know what hex editing is. I don't know why your doing it though, as meta swapping in HMT does the exact same thing, and it's easier. :?

edit: i tried the scenery thing, i didnt get any twisted effects... :( back to asking people if theres a way to turn off weapon respawn...id like to have some1 at least give me an answer and not a way to get around it

All the scenery thing does is let you place vehicles in the map that don't respawn.

i was hoping for the invisible and auto turret, without the respawning, or some other weird thing like the turret with an oversheild or something

Edit the Item collection with HMT that spawns it and turn respawn to something really high, you'll still get an exception but atleast it will take a while.
Sig over height, width, and file size limits.
