Re: Flood_Lock test...
Oh, I apologize. My mistake. But I would still assume 100 to be rather laggy as well. But whatever, I obviously didn't test it.

Re: Flood_Lock test...
It sounds like 1,000 meteors would make the game lag quite a bit.

Re: Emblem Discussions
I don't think chevrons directly correlate to each long post. If this is true. For instance. Three long posts would elicit one chevron. Five long posts would elicit two chevrons. And so on. DeadHamster showed us the two posts, and said that he did have more. So it seems that you need more than just o...

The only edited part of the post was "...Scotty..."ScottyGEE wrote:If that edit was directed at me...I don't get it.
You posted before I did about crushing a user's soul, or something similar, so I simply referenced you.

Re: Emblem Discussions
Tural's long posts usually appear when he's crushing someone's soul. As in, they have an incorrect belief, or some such, and he critiques their entire post. His can get quite long. Edit: ...Scotty... I have a hard time believing that it's grammar. I imagine that a script that can "measure"...

Re: Emblem Discussions
It's possible... but yet again, Tural would probably have it. And Tural's mention of the difficulty of detecting the reason seems to deny that theory. I can't imagine that a word count is incredibly difficult to process.

I'm thinking... something related to activity. I don't know if the pattern is significant of anything... but... Green Emblem People - relatively active, or members that were very recently active; but not necessarily a whole lot of posts. newbymodder, Prey, OmegaMuffin, Milyardo, all people that were...

Re: Emblem Discussions
I appreciate the list.
Is the fact that it won't be given out again due to the emblem's nature? Or is it the distributor's independent decision?

I guess I would concur, then. It seems foolish to argue about its meaning with the member who already knows it.
Maybe Prey's "Pepper" will offer a hint.

But, as many can attest, you also have quite a few posts consisting of a screens-worth of words.

Re: Emblem Discussions
Through a quick search of your latest posts, DeadHamster, it appears as though you say very little. A couple lines at most. It may, in fact, be how little you write.

..all of which is in vain. It isn't Starcraft. Get over it. Woah. Calm down there, Cowboy. I hardly feel I merit such harsh dialect. It is a Casual RTS, not a hardcore one. It’s a good game and they did a very good job. So far...the only people I have seen who had a gripe about this game fit in two...

Re: Internet Filtering
He'll correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm relatively certain that Tural's support of censorship is mostly based on the censorship of information that can threaten national security, and the censorship of websites that host child pornography. I can't imagine that he would want to censor all pornography ...

Re: Rainbow Theory
So the point is that the halos represent the promise that the flood will never reach Earth , not that Bungie likes sevens. You can't have a theory that proves that...The game told us that. It's like... the main point of the game. Halo destroys the flood; saves humanity. That's... pretty much the po...

True Events are cooler and more believable than True Stories, because the Events are True.
True Events are True. And believable. And not Stories. Because True Stories aren't True. Nor are they cool.

Re: Rainbow Theory
Every time I go to Bungie.net, I gather further proof that intelligent life does not truly exist on Earth. Nor does God exist; he wouldn't be so cruel as to let such a place exist.
The "theory" pretty much proves that Bungie likes the number 7.
Way to go?

Re: The Official Rant Thread
Still debating whether I enjoy the lack of a filter or not. I think it should've been kept, but some words shouldn't've been filtered, anyway. Some of the inline ads are showing up with a single underline, instead of what I believed was supposed to be two. Not sure if that was the situation when the...

Re: The Official Happiness Thread
Halo Wars. I didn't look at the cinematic that was posted, in which everybody was "oooh"ing, and "ahhhh"ing over, but I assume that it was the scene with the three spartans, Forge, and the Arbiter. Epic battle. The cinematic graphics are absolutely amazing. There's a few things I...
