HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

The textures are in .dds format. Also, in HMT, I cannot open the main program, and I think I need to DL whatever .dll is. Could I get the name of it so I can search for it?

Right, well I did that, but when I tried to open the maps, it said "cannot open, the archive is either in an unknown format or damaged", how can I fix that?

The last time I asked this people just said insert it with HMT...well, I have no clue how to use that program. I have downloaded skins off of here and cannot find a FAQ on how to put them in. Could someone explain to me, or give me a link on how to do it?

Ok, there are a lot of faqs out there to help people install mods, but how do I install skins? I know it's something about patching, but I'm not quite sure how to do it. A link or explanation would help much.

oh yeah, the mod in question? Sneaky Sniper Darkness Gulch, and I don't think it has a readme

How do you add a mod to a lvl? I'm trying to add a mod to Blood Gulch, but I have no clue how...any help?
