Anyone know of a way to open the maps for Trial in Sparkedit?

When I try, it just stops "Compiling Tag Relationships..." Regular PC maps open fine.

My friend is an idiot. He bought a Mac, and thus bought Halo Mac, and since it is a Mac and a Macsoft game, he can't get it to update properly. He is stuck with the equivalent of 1.06. I've been trying to mod BloodGulch in CE with HMT, but everytime I do, I get Gathering Exception Data. I followed these instructions that I got from, umm, well I don't remember where I got them now. They do make it so the map can be opened in HMT and values changed, but when I change it back it gets...

Ahh, about the bitmap images, good to know. I thought maybe just my comp wasn't displaying it because it's retarded or something, lol.

About reinstalling it, he's tried that already unfortunately.

A friend of mine's Halo, when started up, gives an error saying that his ui.map is corrupted. I sent him a new ui.map, but it didn't fix the problem.

Hey. I still have Halo PC installed on my comp, but I lost my CD. I have my serial written down, although I don't know if that will help any. Is there any way I can get Halo 1.07 to play without having my original CD?

Umm, no. All you have to do is EITHER open up the Halo cd in explorer and extract the levels yourself(but you'd have to be smart to know how to do that), or go to any website that has the muliplayer maps for the server (they are the exact same maps) and download them. I got a .ppf from a friend that makes weapons and items bigger (so they are easier to see from far away). Forgive my extreme ignorance, but why can't user-created Halo CE maps be opened in Spark Edit?

And, what program CAN I use on CE maps that is similar to Sparkedit, if such a program exists?
