HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

Hey, I am a newb at this stuff, I need help with my modchip. I have the X-B.I.T program thing that you use on the comp. But when even I try to use the mods I downloaded, it wants them in binary files, not PPF or anything else. Please tell me what to do.

Hey, how do you use mods that are bigger then 2MB? What kind of mod do you use?
