Re: 3dsmax Rendering Support Topic

I figured that a thick rubber would probably be used in armor.

Re: 3dsmax Rendering Support Topic

Here is my rubber detail. I forgot to save the render I did with it and I'm to lazy to do so now. This is a low res version. If you want the hi res one let me know. This is photo sourced from the rubberized floor at a near by ice rink. http://i58.photobucket.com/albums/g246/fritzmonkey/rubber_01.jpg

Re: 3dsmax Rendering Support Topic

There was no major difference because I just slapped it on before going to eat. After kicking up the out put it is much more noticeable.

As far as it being plastic looking I disagree.

Re: 3dsmax Rendering Support Topic

It is lacking detail because there were no detail maps on it then. I decided to take what you said to heart and I'm going to make my own detail bumps at least. If I have time I might make my own textures for everything. Before: http://i58.photobucket.com/albums/g246/fritzmonkey/reflectiontest-1.jpg ...

Re: 3dsmax Rendering Support Topic

I'm looking for thoughts and suggestions for my latest material, and hopefully you all can settle a dispute over what version looks better.
