From the twenty minutes that I played WoW with my half nephew I would definitely play this over it any day, even if it doesn't hold up to its promises...

the reason i say their descendants is because the forerunner seeded there self with earth. Since the forerunner build the portal on earth and made contact with us who in the halo 3 ARG comic shows they are wearing really advanced stuff and we arn't then why would you assume that humans are forerunn...

bcnipod, your friend is thinking the same thing I did before I went back and read the terminals. They clearly state that humanity was discovered on Earth and categorized. I guess when the forerunners knew they had to fire the halos they reprogrammed their defense system around humans.

Map seems nice, a bit random but I guess that's fine. If you moved some things around in the BSP viewer and gave a reason for those fires it would turn out pretty good.
