Well, I got it to work, I re-applyed the uvw map and started the texture process from scratch and it worked this time, using the fit option screwed it up.

The Paper Cats: I had this problem to, but when I checked my model in 3DSMax I noticed I forgot to link my map to the frame. So make sure your objects are linked to your frame.
