ok when i do that it either A. is just a pure black layer on the ground with corrupted water or sky bitmaps, or B. fails to load the map entirely. i did do the EOF and update AFTER I injected it so is there something I'm missing?

Skinning Trouble

OK I've been trying to make my own snow skins and I've only gotten this result (I've been attempting this a lot)

the closest I ever got to Animation and making new ones was hex, but I was so confused when i tried it. i guess you can try to make your own with 3ds Max but that may be Halo CE.

ya you got it, but if i were you i would stick to one kind of tree like pine or that funky one, and try to add smaller ones as well, i know there are some. Any who, i would look at the "HALO" a30.map for more scenery if your going for pines, or deathisland trees for the funky ones. P.S. i ...

yes he could but you would be sliding around and well it doesn't seem to realistic to slid in mud 30ft, I go Mudding a lot and well you don't really slide around a lot. I just think it would be more realistic to swap the ice impacts with dirt or swamp, that way it would be like, when you walk over i...

Ok, i see you made it look like mud, but did you make it where a warthog will run over it like mud or is it still ice and slide in it with the ice shards coming out?

From what I remember, helpful halo hacking tool is a patching program, which won't allow you to make mods but use others. ahh that makes more sense. since thats out the window, just skin the same as the ground and you would have to find a way to change the collision on the ice, just driving around on grass and then spin out with ice shards shooting out of the sides, so ya just what JK and Mars said, more grass texture ...
