Certainly, I know exactly what the values for the campaign maps are, let me just get out my CON resigner.

Yes, I know that there's a value that defines what map it's for. I know we don't know what it would do, but it honestly makes no sense that it would just appear there. If I were to make a guess about what, if anything it would do, I would say it would appear in the campaign menu like the rally points.

You'd need to modify the menu to list the single player maps in forge, which would require a .map resigner.

If your going to attempt modding it for forging campaign you'll need a .map resigner, a flashed 360, and a con resigner. You don't need any tool besides a hex editor for anything.

How about this theory? If you keep jumping off a cliff, you'll grow wings eventually. I volunteer neodos to test it. How would he be able to test his theory? doesn't he need a dev 360 to allow modified sp maps ? ,and on top of that the current apps can't do much. I agree with what Tura...

Ok these guys don't have time to mod, only to make apps, who mods here? Don't say it's impossible without testing i have broken so many theories of "its impossible" on halo 2 modding... i know that you guys are goods really, but when it comes to test no one of you test that's the problem....

I think this might be on to something actually... I'm no expert on the forge map file format but I'm guessing it must reference the map that it is for in some way. and changing this to a campaign map might cause it to appear on the multiplayer menu...giving use halo 3 mpc >_> You might be able to m...

Yes, but he did say "So, are campaign modding possible within our resources?", and the .map resigner would be the biggest "resource" for something like this if it was possible.

Re: Forging Campaign

After thinking about how Halo 3's map engine works, I have come to the conclusion that forging on Halo 3 campaign maps are possible. Prove me wrong please. I'm pretty sure each usermap contains the map ID or similar in each to identify the map. But, what if we change the ID to a campaign map and lo...
