I don't see the point in the rule of not being able to distribute the maps if anyone with a silver account can download them for free, thus making it totally free. But ok, it is what it is. Oh, you could apply for a harddrive transfer cable for the 360, which you can use to connect your HD to your PC.

And yeah, go for 32 bit unless you have 4+ GB of ram. It's not worth the extra trouble/compatibility issues for no gains.

Dismanager can be annoying though. Know that you cannot extend a partition to the left, you cannot move partitions, and you cannot add free space to Partition A if Partition B sits between them.

I have an evox m8 bios (or something very similar for a 1.6 xbox) on my Xenium Gold and I launch an xbe (from the UnleashX dash) that brings me to the xbe launcher. Yeah, sorry. That wasn't what I meant. When you said you need a modified executable to run unsigned maps, I took it as you can't do that on a retail console. My questions was supposed to be "So could older 360s run unisgned maps with the modded .xbe?" Which, you're right, has nothing to do...

Will we easily be able to mod actual maps now that we can get the game to run off the HDD? Or does it do a comparison between the disc and the installed version? As stated, it is still impossible, and likely always will be, to resign map files. The workaround to this is modifying the executable to ...

Exact same problems with Vista, but oh well.

I'll try running it in an XP virtual machine.
