Well.. it was made for 3DS Max 6, but 7 should work fine. It appears under 'utilities' on the drop down list.

No. Since there is no editing kit for Halo 2, what's the point in extracting the tags? Besides, I have nothing to compare original Halo 2 tags with compiled Halo 2 tags.

Halo 2 is not yet fully supported, as the main focus was getting support for Halo 1 first. However, it can open Halo 2 maps no problem. Really, all that needs to be done is plugins do be made for Halo 2.

does anyone realize you can steal halo ce models with this? you can take the texture out of guerilla... What? All it does is convert models to 3ds and obj, it doesnt extract the models from maps or anything, just opens gbxmodels. So if you dont have the gbxmodel, your not gonna get the 3ds or obj. ...

Nope, I didn't look at the code, it was simple enough to do it without. Although JamesD did help a little by explaining a few things to me (Which i guess i sohuld add credit for).

ok steelixb, i hav a question....i use this to import the tank into 3dsmax7 and then i try and run the script but i think im doing something wrong, do i open the cript or run it or what? cuz if i do run then it just does nothing EDIT:nvm, i did it wrong, when u siad the utilties drop down box i tho...
