Thanks for that post! I now know that the codec for Halo is ADCPM. I was converting it to ADCPM, so no changes were made and it was still unplayable, so now I have to convert it to little-endian codecs instead. Thanks a lot.

OK so I got all of the OGG sounds and converted them into MP3 format sound. It all sounds great. However, the WAV format sounds are neither recognized as WAVs nor are they playable on ANY I reiterate ANY player at all except for eRightsoft Super which isn't convenient because it's a converter not a ...

wow

jeez the marines say a lot of stuff... some of these i've never heard before. it's going to take me hours to convert oggs into mp3s. something like 6,000 sfx. good thing i have batch using erightsoft super

OK well what i've done is open A10 (Pillar of Autumn?) and I've gone to Batch Extract and checked extract sounds. Will this do what I want it to? give me most sounds i'll need to get from the game?

Hey, guys. I'm totally new to halo modding and before I got anything done, I was stopped at square one. The first thing I do whenever I get a game is to hack its sound and music files (lovable little useful things) and HMT 3.5 claims that sounds.map is an invalid .map file. This is a big blow for me...
