Entirely New Maps?

Hi, Kinda new to modding Halo and I'm a little down because of what I see. First off $MS$/Bungie made this game waaaaay too hard to mod. I mean come on, the games been out how long and we are still stuck with the same old maps... save a few SP/MP conversions. I want to be able to import entirely new...

I don't understand why you cannot make a ppf file.

Doesn't it just compare two files (original map and your modded one in this case) and make a file that can turn the original into the modded one?

I guess I missed something.

That a cooll mod man. Any idea on how many logs uv'e used so far?

Reason I'm asking is won't that many logs(judging by the pics) lag the map?
