When you recompile the map, add everything in the ui folder. Not absolutely everything, but what's just inside it. This will get your menus back.

The problem is I have to add dependancies to the ar's wphi meta. Is there a way to do this through HHT or HMT? Or might I be better off trying to adapt a copy of the pistol's scope?

How do I give the ar a working zoom function without swapping the whpi dependancy for the pistol.

They opperate independently of eachother. It you set the clip size and shots reloaded to 30, it will just count by 2's.

The numbers are just 0 to 9, and that doesn't affect where the counter starts. I just want the counter to start at something like 30 instead of 60. If I just change the bitmaps so the starting number is 30, then it will count down... 30 59 58 57 53 55 54 53 and so on. Does anyone understand what I'm...

It's the ammo counter on the gun I'm talking about, not the clip. Nomatter what the clip size is set at, the ammo counter on the gun starts at 60 and goes to 00. I want to make the counter start at a different number. How do I do that?

Idea for adding weapons

If you were to extract a weapon from a map, rename it and change all the folder locations and dependencies to use that name, and build it into a map, could you have the same weapon in two different locations in one map?

What format does a bitmap need to be saved in to be properly understood be halo? Like DXT1, DXT3, ect.

It's in HMT. It should be a number like 0.005, but depending on what weapon plugin you have, it could be called various things like life expended per shot.

I'm adding the plasma cannon to all the maps the fuel rod gun appears in so I can pick it up and use it. So far, I've been successful with c40 and d40. But with d20, no matter what .sbsp.meta I use, I get this error message.

But how so, I have a gig of RAM, plenty of open hard drive space, and I can rebuild c40 and d40 which are far larger maps.

HMT 3.5 Problem

Everytime I try to rebuild d20, I get an out of memory exception. Any ideas as to why?

I think that's what I used, but just making him trackable leaves half an elite sticking out the top of the tank. Then you can shoot the driver out of the vehicle.

I've got it figured out now. You have to go into HMT under the vehicle tag and change the seat from wraith-driver to G-driver. This gives it the same seat as a ghost, but I have no idea where it puts the driver. But, I was wrong before about not being able to drive it. You just have to change the se...
