It can be used, its just that there are 'Missing' bits so it wont transfer from max to tool, shame nobody found the missing bits.

Its a fairly simple process made difficult by slight differences in biped arrangement, and if making a custom vehicles rates 3 stars on the tuffometer, making biped's would probably be about 4 stars. :wink: but im not sure about HMT though coz I dont use it.

Your biggest problem is the fact that they are basically weapons, and weapons cannot be thrown, you can only drop them (they have different coding coz they are netgame flags :wink: ) so im not sure if you would be able to pull it off.

Well if you scroll down through your vehicle (I assume its a vehicle) you should reach an option box with tickable boxes for stuff like ,invisible,locked,driver,gunner and just below them in the option box will be your camera options.

Do you mean for the cyborg?, if yes you can use the default camera and change its setting to third person and it should work, you may need to change the actual camera type though.

forget anything about changing the materials for your collision geometry model, I have found out that it does'nt matter, you just make your model and save it once in models for your gbx and then once in physics for your collision geometry, no need to change any of the materials or re-name anything. ...

d00D your missing the whole point here, this thread is asking how the indexing works, but seeing as its simpler not to make sprites in the first place, eg bitmaps you should check the box to tell halo that it is not a sprite, then halo bypasses the whole indexing all together. ergo you will have no ...

There have been a few cubemaps done by people (me included) and you have to stretch the image to fit from the main ajoining box (the one next to the 3 vertical ones) and then it will have no edges.

Its almost as easy as bumpmaps. :wink:

Halo is hardcoded to recognise 6 vehicles only, if you want your vehicle to be usable in the game you must either ... A - delete all the vehicles in globals and just put yours instead. B - Insert your vehicle anywhere in the first 6 vehicles in globals, you can have as many vehicles as you want but ...
