hey, i went to the labs, thanks for the tip but it says to buy the winrar, and i dont want to, is there anything else thats free?

yo, im new to this site and to modding, in fact i havent even started modding, i am soon. anyways, i download some of these files like yelo, and super spf or whatever and it asks me what to open with, what do i open it with?
