Well, if you are talking about a first person view, then it should of worked fine, unless it's messed up. just change the two modes in the weapons tag to the fp model of the jackle sheild.

Well, I don't know what your talking about, but you go to dothalo, go to bitmaps, extract your bitmap [it gets extracted as a dds file]. then go to the Dxtbmp and open up the dds texture. then click save as and save it to a bitmap. then you skin the bitmap, and convert it to dds and inject.

oh, ok then. THen you should take the fp model of the plasma pistol or w/e and give it the model of your weapon [pistol or w/e]. Do the same thing with the 3p model as well. Take your new weapon and put it over the .objs in the 3p model. try putting it over the magnum instead of sword. Tell me if so...

I didn't really understand what you said, but you have to change the two fp models in the weapons tag to the NEW fp model. You cannot change the fp models to the 3p models, it's best to extract the fp model, change it, then inject and use that.

Well, I looked at halo 2 xbox utilities and didn't find this, so I decided to post it.

P.S. Let me know if it is already in halomods, and for those of you that don't know, this allows you to convert dds textures/skins to bitmap.

Get the program DXTBmp, open up the dds from the map, convert it to a bitmap format, then skin the one in bitmap format in Gimp. then open the bitmap in DXTBmp and convert it back to dds texture. Then inject.
