You currently cannot extract or inject models using Eschaton.

is there a bitmaps.map file in the same directory as the map you opened is in? if not then that map is broken, or not a real map.

shins? you mean skins? goto the bitm tag class, and click load, then you can see the skin, then you can import a new .dds skin or inject over a previous one.
