Then how do i get the mp not to freeze?

Okay i found the tutorials on how to add them to multi player except you have to take over either elite or spartan. Is there a way to do this where i can still choose elite or spartan?

I want for on Coagulation so that when a warthogs spawns at a red base its red and at the blue base its blue. Then at the red base again the guss warthog will be white and at the blue base it will be black. I can recolor the bitmaps for the skins. If anyone could help please let me know, thanks.
