This is great fun to use, and the hotkeys make it that much easier.
I do have to agree with bcnipod that the UI isn't the best in the world, but luckily i don't constantly stare at it so I don't really notice...

As far as I was aware, as he already owns the game, it's perfectly legal. For example it is actually legal to download a game from a website or whatever if you have bought the original game, so I don't see the problem here.

You should find this fairly simple to do. 1. Load up your chosen map in HMT * 2. Scroll down to the [weap] tag 3. Select "vehicles\ghost\mp_ghost gun" 4. Now copy the meta of this - which is D33018 5. Go down to any weapon and paste this into there meta slot 6. Voila! The weapons wont appe...

let people make custom stuff.
That sounds a bit hopefull to me. Forge may be a map editor to an extent, but they would probably need to provide an entire new set of software to do that.

Well in the beta there was a way to get out of Vahalla anyway by the sea rocks. I haven't bothered to see if that still works though.

You can only use HaloDev offline - so whats the problem? It's great to use for taking screenshots and many of its features are really fun to use - like bump possesion...

one way i tired once was swapping the ai for one of the things under item collection tag but that didn't work - just got exception error. However, if some people could get that to work, then that could be your answer.

One way to get them to respwan is this:
Go to hht find a vehicle - best is warthog as it has 3 seats
Then click on the atcv tag (should be three of them) and swap with your hunters.
Then go into sparkedit and flip the vehicles over.

Ai spawns in batch extract?

I was wondering if the ai spawns are located in a sp batch extract. 'Cause if they are you could then copy them along with the rest of the ai folders, thus having ai in a sp>mp map, with customisable spawns and stuff.
