Q: How would I go about making the Jackal Shield more transparent from the first person perspective? Is there and alpha value I can change? Also, I agree with what you said about this portion being more geared towards mods in progress type stuff however I find topics which have the question in thei...

Question about converted maps
I'm curious about these converted campaign maps? How does this work, do they just do portions of the maps, if so what happens when you get to the edge? How big are these going to be anyway? I take it these are just for playing MP style games on right, no AI in them like the actual missions (unless p...

Thats strange, I thought that windows had to boot from C: for some reason. I can't see why that would be the problem though but having already tried everything else I've got nothing to lose. I'll let you know what happens when I try it after work. UPDATE: I had some luck today, I downloaded the newe...

You mean your Entity program in installed under D: instead of C: right? You know I'm wondering if that could be it, I'm running Entity off an external drive P: (although for some reason I think I tried in on the C: but I'm not sure) You should try it on your C: and see if it works, I'm at work so I ...

I'm currently having .net errors too, I have a few things I'm going to try and I'll let you know what I find. I would say try installing V2.0 as well, I've heard from another guy that you don't need 3.0 all he is running is 1.1 and 2 If you find anything that works for you let me know and I'll do th...

Here is a link to the dds plugin topic, I can't see why it wouldn't work with CS2
http://forums.halomods.com/viewtopic.ph ... 87&t=20850
Actually as I read further I see that the tutorial in that thread is using CS2 so yeah it will work.

Thanks for posting this, I've been looking for something exactly like this for awhile (my first attempt was going to be a BR with secondary grenades LOL). I've had some other ideas for secondary fire but I haven't been able to find any tutorials, with this I should be able to look at your modded wea...

Ya sorry about the double post, next time I'll just edit the original. That is strange that you only get the error sometimes, if you get the error again could you look to see if the error is the same ie The ArgumentOutOfRangeException is for 'Start' and not something else? Its really starting to dri...

Ok so I tried it with a fresh map straight from my H2 disc, still got the error. I then tried downloading the weap plugin again and it still gives me that same error. Can anyone verify for me that it is not my V3 .net framework that's doing this? Just go to Add/Remove Progams and see which microsoft...

If its just a faulty plugin then why wouldn't version 1.3 work either? Its in a seperate folder with its own plugins. I'll try what you suggested but I don't think its the plugin. I can't try it until I get home from work (in about 7 hours). Until then if anybody else has any ideas feel free to post...

I tried both a modded map and a fresh map both give the same error. I found out about Entity because I modded lockout to have the jackal shield in it but it didn't work over system link properly so someone suggested I use the fix system link tool in Entity, I did that and it didn't give me any error...

Entity errors - have the latest .net framework - Please Help
For some reason I can't get Entity to work (1.3 or UE1.5), the program loads and I can open a map but as soon as I try to edit any meta data I get this error (see attachment). I am using .net framework V3 and running WinXP Pro. I'm new to this modding scene so I had been using dothalo, h2x, and inso...
