good work
this is a great map but like haloslayer said, it is quite difficult to get up those rocks, maybe just put ramps or model your own easily mountable rocks? maybe if you broke it up into pieces in 3dsmaz and imported them as seperate objects (i dont know how that would go with the space available, but ...

Very Impresive
Looks really cool and I wanna try it how difficult would it be to make a bg version? mostly because us pal halo owners can only use bg patches (thanks to the work of those guys who did the pal to ntsc patches, and whos names i forget) I dont really know how viable that is, but if its not to difficul...

Whats the compatability like?
Great work!
Does this work with both NTSC and PAL?
How about HaloPC?
This could make inserting a HaloPC rocket hog alot easier.

How about just removing your windows drive from your computer and putting in the xbox drive, and boot from the install cd of your distro of choice (gentoo is the best :) If your harddrive is locked then you will find out about it as soon as you try and partition/install it (and use whatever tool you...

Editing?
great work poke, my first thought was: could this be used (or edited) to be compatable with haloce maps? if we could import directly from there then there would be many more quality mods for xbox this may be impossible, but its just a thought also i assume it does the collision models too? how does ...

Ghost Booster Idea
I had an idea after watching the Halo2 multiplayer video from e3 If you've seen it you'll know that the ghost will have a `booster' when you pull the left trigger You might be able to do this in Halo 1 if you set the ghost to have a secondary fire (like the imported banshees do), but have it fire an...

File locations
In the NTSC Bloodgulch offset list, the structure BSP is listed to be at 0x023492B8, does anyone know if this is the visual/collision? Also, whichever it is does the other come directly after or are they at seperate locations? Does anyone know the sizes of these? It doesn't seem to be listed in the ...

Possibly for Blood Gulch?
I realise that theres very little chance of a PAL port, so could these posibly be put into Blood Gulch?
because we Pal folks can play ntsc bloodgulch thanks to the conversion patches
great work btw, cant wait to try the sword

Can someone please post a description of the structure of the visual model and collision model data, possibly with an offset of an example point?

Character Skins?
Has anyone tried/been able to swap the cyborb character skin with that of a marine or a custom skin, without a full model import (ie like the Elites people have been importing)? There doesn't seem to be a marine skin in the BG files, but would it be as simple as a vehicle skin to add a custom one? A...

Just a thought
I've been following this for a while, but got lost in places along the way but I was thinking about what you said (specifcally xorange) about the "passthrough" effect. Perhaps it is meant to be the gradient of the plane? because it would make runtime alot more efficient if the game didnt h...
