You can also make a box that is roughly the same size as the pelican (use the program I can has cubez), and then swap the phmo of the box in for the phmo of the pelican. Then it will sit on the BSP without spinning. But the phmo won't be perfect, of course.

That HUD looks nice. I like how the screen flashes red around the edges when your health is low, and I like seeing health and shields separately (health doesn't recharge, right?). For the overhead view, you could make a modded warthog where the driver shoots brute shots from the turret while driving...

Oh wait nvm, the skull can sit on machs and things, but when you arm the assault bomb it just falls through them until it touches the BSP. So it says "bomb planted!" but then the timer never fills up because the bomb falls out of the arming circle. So don't bother setting assault bomb armi...

Can I add some modded weapons to the mainmenu or shared.map so that I can select them in the quick options? I think in Killtrocity you could select the shield as starting weapon. Thank you very much. I appreciate all the detail. I got it working without any problem. I actually obtained the same result awhile back by shooting a different type of core, then swapping its hlmt with the expelled_core. But it didn't have the gigantic pink explosion. 8)
