maybe you could use planes on top of the blocky parts then move the vertices to get the desired results.

the dll files that re needed are downloadable from the nVidia website. just search for msvcrt71.dll in developer tools.

if you're like a MS Paint master, then you could download convim.exe that converts .dds files to any type of picture file u want (TIFF, JPG, BMP, etc.)

if you download the dds plugin from nVidia's website make sure that you download the DLLs with it or else PS will say: Could not find msvcrt71.dll" or something like that. If you cant find the dlls simply download that convim.exe program to convert dds to jpeg and stuff and back again.

WOW that model is sweet. But I agree with everyone else, make it a little less blocky.
