You have to define sections of your mesh to use a separate material group, then link materials to those sections: which means each material will use its own bitmap. Then wherever you need a certain material you just add that section of mesh into the material group with the material you want to use.

Although you have a correct point DeToX, its better to err on the side of safety. Unused values: especially since entity fails to handle the correctly, are a stupid thing in plugins. Coll is entirely differn't.... so no.

The app currently injects into a tags raw and replaces it--it does not clone it.

I didn't feel at the time to expand on my hasty explanations but I had questions marks next to ambiguous/unsure things: like sometimes the offsets and sizes are always the same so I did not know which was which.
