Make sure you check ignore backfacing on the seclection screen. That way you only select the polygon you mean to , not the one underneath it. I think Gmax does not support Multi-subobjects .. but you only really need that if you are using more textures than you have in the material view port. ITs go...

Pretty good. IF you are having issues with interiors take a look at Mattp001 tutorial. Its pretty informative. It doesn't flicker when i change the angle in the veiwport .. i mean when i change the angle on the UVW Map. Just weird thats all. I think i got it figured out though ... uvw mapping is probably the hardest part about making a level.

You have to use multi-sub object materials, this allows you to apply one material to an object, but apply sub-object IDs to any face/faces you want allowing potentially each face to have a different texture. Pretty interesting ... hopefully the greeks gets more advanced weapons to counterbalance the defense benifits of the city. Maybe once side starts with a tank but the other has a base with a few choke points.
