HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

I dont remember with patch, it was a .serenity though. And I use dothalo to extract the bitmap....any other better programs to do this?

I need to know how to get the skins .dds files from .serenity patches...i can download the .serenity files and patch them and they work but i want them for different maps. I patch it, then try extract the bitmap buit it doesnt seem to work...please help
