Okay, download the latest Nvidia drivers. Change the quality settings in the nvidia control panal to speed over looks. And if that doesn't work lower your resolution some.

Yeah, but these guys are describing Live, and friends list, which isn't needed in LAN. So I figured they are talking live, and not lan. I may have misunderstood.
